So much Rosie, so little time
The more things I have to post about, the less time I have to post them.
Funny, as Rosie gets more and more mobile and skilled, I've more to Blog about but a heck of a lot less time to post it all! So.... here is what she's up to these days:
Independent Standing
Rosie has enough balance and agility now to stand all by herself!

She isn't consistently getting into a stand without support just yet, but once she's up, she's good to go!
Everyone is Mama
Mama Mama Mama. She hasn't figured out yet that mama is ME, but she sure does like to say it! And man does she have the cutest little voice.
First Business Trip
Rosie took her first business trip, all the way to Indianapolis! She was a little gem on the plane. Even when it was naptime, she snuggled up against us with her blankie and went to sleep. She is just unbelievably sweet! She was great in the hotel room. And sharing a room for a week was not so bad. There were a few more night wakings than usual, and she did have to adjust to the time change, but all in all she did great. And on the weekend, she even got to meet some new friends!

These are my online friends, and we've been "together" since we were pregnant with these little sweeties. It was great to finally meet my buddies!
On the Road to Weaning
Rosie won't be a breastfed baby much longer. She still loves the breast, but is becoming less and less interested in it during the day. She nurses about 4 times every 24 hours, and shortly after her birthday we will begin cutting back little by little until she's independent from breastfeeding. I'm more proud that I can ever say that we will have made it to one year, it really means a lot to me!
Becoming... a person
Three weeks away from her first birthday, and it shows. She's a person. She has her own will and thinks for herself. She knows what she wants. She plays by herself, and comes to mom and dad for snuggles when she needs them. She loves to eat; her favorites right now are pasta, fresh mozzerella, and whole apple. She loves her kitty cat, and all animals in general. She loves to drink water and milk but never drinks juice. She has little interest in television. Her favorite book is our wedding album. She thinks many, many things are funny. She crawls REALLY FAST. She loves her blankie.
