I made it all by myself!

I decided it was time for a new hobby. Everyone should learn a new skill once in awhile. Keeps your brain fresh. Why not learn to knit? It seems to be all the rage, and I want to fit in with the crowd you know. And hey, there just aren't many hobbies that give you an excuse to sit on your ass, watch TV, yet be productive at the same time! So I bought a book, looked at some web pages, and set off to become a chic with sticks.

My first project was a simple scarf.


Nothing too crazy, just an easy peasy scarf. Then I decided to get nutty and make one with stripes.



Well it came out pretty darn good and I was quite proud. So I decided it was time for something big. My next project was a poncho for Rosie. After 4 nights, this is what I came up with.



I am so darn proud of this little gem I can't even tell you. Next I'm going to make a hat to match Rosie's poncho, and then.... I'm not sure! I just might get wild and make a sweater!!!
